Not so wordless, the Farewell turned out ok but what really blew me away was how beautiful my DD looked! She's really turning into a young lady. This is the picture we took of her wearing her new ring that she got for Grad.

Tea time chat that consists of my day to day thoughts and knitting projects. Pour yourself a cup of tea and settle in for awhile. I hope you find something here that interests you.

Gosh, I bet you feel like time just marches on!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you both. My own daughter is currenlty working on her first word...but I know that moments like this are not as far away as I like to think
ReplyDeleteLove the blue nails;)...congrats to all of you!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to watch them grow up, Tea. It sounds like you are having a nostalgia attack. Did you cry at her graduation? Or Farewell, as you call it? Ibet you got all misty-eyed.
ReplyDeleteThat is just next year for me, and I just can't fathom that! I have one who will be 18 this September and one who is not even 1yo. But it happens so fast.
ReplyDeleteOur VBS this year was Boot Camp, and my sons were wearing their father's old uniforms and I will be posting a pic of my oldest filling daddy's shoes next week. It just filled me with pride and dread. (he's joining the military next year)
Enjoy your sweet young woman! The childhood years are gone now.
It's so much fun to watch our daughters mature. Lovely photo and Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteOmg! How pretty! And I LOVE her nail polish!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
What a beautiful ring! I'm sure she will treasure that as a keepsake for many years to come:)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your family. The ring looks even nicer on her hand.
ReplyDeleteI posted salad recipes on my blog today, if you want to check them out.
