Gibsons Landing

Do you remember the Canadian T.V. Show the Beachcombers? This is where the show was filmed. My sister, nephew and I spent the day out there walking along the harbor, eating blackberries from the bushes growing everywhere, ate lunch at Molly's Reach and did some souvenir shopping, all in all a great day and thankfully the weather also cooperated. This was my first ever ferry ride and I really enjoyed it!

I've been on the ferry from Okracoke to Cedar Point. We loved it.

  5. Being from Texas, I'm not familiar with the show, but that looks like a blast! I like ferry rides, myself...but we don't have many around here. The ones in Texas aren't very scenic, but once I took the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria...oh my! I envy you this trip.
