Mmmmm Mmmmm Buttermilk Dip

One of my dear friends/volunteers at work gave me her recipe for this dip and I have to say this is some good dip. You can make plenty to have for yourself and put some in smaller mason jars to give as Christmas gifts, that is if you can part with it.

Buttermilk Dip

Excellent with vegetables or baked potatoes

1 litre Buttermilk
1 jars 750 ml. Hellmans Mayonnaise or the ‘light' version
1 tsp. Pepper
1 Tbsp. or more of onion salt

Mix all together with electric mixer in large bowl using low speed. When well mixed, put into the Hellmans jars and refrigerate. A clear liquid will form at the bottom but that's normal, but do not mix it into the dip. Can be stored in the fridge for 6 - 8 weeks safely.

NOTE: The Hellman's light will not get the water liquid at the bottom of the jar and it is just as tasty.
