I made 'Red Velvet Cake' for dessert yesterday. This is the first time I've tried this cake. My sister had given me a recipe book with her favorite recipes a few years ago for my birthday. This cake has intrigued me since then. For some reason I thought it would be a difficult cake to make, it wasn't!
The only difference I made was making a stabilized whipped cream icing as I'm not fond of butter cream frosting.
